Rupert the Great

I just found out that my first middle grade manuscript is being reviewed by Martin Literary Management. I'm also writing a Young Adult paranormal fiction novel that is about half-way done. So excited about the progress.

Time to Get Published

I'm putting the finishing touches on a query letter to send to publishers. I'm going to try Bee Prayerful--Suzy's Little Lost Dolly for the first book in the series. I should be done by next week.

Where Can I Turn For Peace

A few months ago, I arranged my first piece for clarinet and piano. It turned out awesome. We have a soloist in our ward who plays as a guest for a nearby university. He's really talented. The song turned out way better than I even heard it in my head thanks to this young man. Thanks goes out to Alex Stringham and family. I may submit this one for publishing.

Savior, Guide Me Home

I hope you enjoy this song. I wrote it to go along with a few firesides I did back in September. I'm hoping to perform this one often. The fireside is about a 'train' metaphor and you really feel that quick motion in the bass of this piece. It feels like the train careening off track until you get to the section about seeking the Savior. I kind of like how that turned out.

If you have trouble downloading and printing, I can always send you a copy through e-mail. Just write me at anne_corey@hotmail.com.

Youth Fireside

I had an awesome time up in Seattle yesterday doing a youth fireside for the Skyway and Tiffany Park Wards. The youth there were wonderful. We had a great night laughing, crying and feeling the spirit. I played seven original songs including In the Arms of Love and I Will Be That One. I really hope to keep doing these firesides. The youth are fantastic and I love spending time with them.
